In Bavaria, the use of BF4 vehicles requires training as an administrative assistant, which then allows you to accompany large and / or heavy transports alone on designated routes, in coordination with the responsible road traffic authorities.

In order to be able to offer an “all-round carefree package” to our customers we already stand with the purchase of vehicles advisory to the side and organize then the necessary TÜV appraisals and §70 permissions, so that one can be procured afterwards for the individual transport projects the permission after §29 exp. 3 StVO and/or §46 exp. 1 No. 5 StVO problem-free.

For the procurement of permits and the smooth transport execution it is essential to check in advance the planned route for trafficability, which of course does not stop at the destination address but is up to the actual place of shipment of the machine / crane runway / concrete part or container. Many years of experience are just as useful to us here as digital measuring equipment and computer simulations.
To ensure smooth transport, we organize no-stopping zones at specific points, set up approved detours if necessary, and lay steel or plastic roadway slabs for the transport companies to protect the road in order to minimize point loads and to protect any verge areas and roadway dividers.

Large-volume transportation often results in the need to temporarily close off certain zones around the transport route, as otherwise ordinary traffic would interfere with the progress of the cargo. In such cases, SSL takes care of the establishment of the relevant stopping bans, their approval and compliance.
In order to be able to satisfy our customers completely, we have in our fleet a cherry picker truck and 2 workshop trucks so that everything can be cleared away in advance and after the passage of the heavy transport everything can be dismantled again. Also telephone lines are no problem or if it goes sometimes closely, we place ourselves gladly to the side and look with the cherry picker on eye level whether it fits!
